Dr. Raj Prasad has been in his service since January 2000. He is serving in Los Angeles and other neighbouring communities with his specialties. He is very active in community services. He was the former President of Indian Medical Association for 3 years. Also, he is a Staff of Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, Brotman Medical Centre, Olympia Medical Centre and Kindred Hospital in Los Angeles.

He earned his Residency in International Medicine when he was studying in the University of Illinois Mercy Hospital and Medical Centre, Chicago, IL.

His interest in research started when he was working as Clinical Research Fellow in Rizzoli Institute, Bologna, Italy (1989 – 1990) and as a Research Assistant in Department of Surgical Oncology and Pathology UCLA Medical Centre – Orthopaedic Hospital, Los Angeles, CA (1990-1995). These experiences earned him “The Young Scientist” Award from American Society of Clinical Oncology.

His Medical Education started in Medical School University Rajasthan School of Medicine, Jaipur, India M.D. (1977-1985). Then he went to Orthopaedic Surgery Residency University followed by Rajasthan School of Medicine located in Jaipur, India (1985-1989). His Transitional Year was at Marshall University Medical Center, Huntington, WU (1995-1996). Lastly he went for his Medical Residency in International Medicine Residency University of Illinois Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, IL (1996-1999)
